Hallux Rigidus
Hallux Rigidus is arthritis of the big toe joint which eventually causes the toe to become unmovable. Over time, the motion of this joint decreases due to overuse and becomes difficult to walk, run, or climb stairs, all which involve pushing off of the big toe.
