Stress Fracture
A stress fracture is a tiny crack in a bone caused by repetitive stress, often from overuse. It can occur in any bone, however, it is more commonly found in the metatarsal bones of the foot. Most people have no recollection of injury. Stress fractures are often found in runners and athletes who have increased their training.
